Author Guidelines
-
The article is the result of research in the field of Information Technology, is not plagiarized and has never been published. Articles are written in accordance with predetermined writing instructions. Templates for writing can be downloaded from the Download Template menu.
-
Authors are strongly advised to use software such as Mendeley to manage references (citations and bibliography).
-
Article submissions are made via this site. Authors are required to have an account to be able to submit articles. If the author doesn't have an account, you can register on the Register menu. When filling out the registration form, don't forget to select the role as Author. Once the author has an account, they can log in then click New Submission, then follow step by step. Something to note is that articles are in Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx) format with a maximum size of 2 MB.
-
All manuscripts are reviewed by reviewers appointed by the editor according to their field of expertise. Confirmation of loading/rejection of manuscripts will be notified in writing via email. The review process takes around 1 months (usually the review results will appear a maximum of a month before the publication schedule). To maintain review quality, MIT does not provide fast track reviews. There are 3 types of review results, namely : accepted, revised, or rejected. If there are revisions, the author is given the opportunity for two weeks to make improvements (revisions) to the manuscript based on recommendations/suggestions from reviewers and editors. A Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is only given if the article status has been accepted.
-
Emails from MIT journals sometimes go to spam. Therefore, authors are advised to check the spam folder in their email or regularly monitor the status of articles on their journal accounts.
-
Please upload revisions in the menu section Review - Upload Author Version. Revisions to articles that are not uploaded in this section will be deemed not to have been revised.
-
Calls For Paper will be held throughout the year. Every year there are 2 (two) journal publication periods. February (No.1), and October (No.2) editions. Because the review process takes 1 month, the latest paper submission is 1 month before each edition is published, for example in the february Edition, the latest is December.
-
The process of sending, reviewing and publishing online articles is free of charge.
-
Everything related to permission to quote or use computer software to create manuscripts or other matters related to IPR carried out by the author of the article, including the legal consequences that may arise because of this, is the full responsibility of the author of the manuscript.
-
Provisions for canceling articles that have been submitted: Notification of article cancellation can be made via email suharsonobantun@gmail.com. If the article is still in the review and revision stage, the article will be returned to the author at no charge. However, if the article status has been accepted, the author will be blacklisted. If an article has been published, it cannot be canceled unless there are serious problems such as plagiarism, SARA violations, etc.
