Guide for Reviewers
Thank you for agreeing to review a manuscript for the Journal of Pharmacy Innovation and Practice (JAPRI). Your contribution as a reviewer is essential in ensuring the scientific quality, integrity, and relevance of the articles we publish. This guide provides instructions and ethical standards for reviewers.
1. General Responsibilities
- Provide an objective, constructive, and timely evaluation of the manuscript.
- Respect the confidentiality of the review process. Do not share, discuss, or use the content of the manuscript for personal advantage.
- Identify any conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, collaborative, or personal) and notify the editor immediately if such conflicts exist.
- Decline the review if you are not an expert in the subject area or unable to provide a review within the specified time frame.
2. Ethical Considerations
- Ensure the manuscript respects ethical standards, including human/animal research ethics, informed consent, and data integrity.
- Report any suspicion of plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or other forms of research misconduct to the editor.
3. Aspects to Evaluate
When reviewing a manuscript, please consider the following aspects:

| 2. | Scientific Quality: Are the study design, methodology, data analysis, and conclusions sound and reliable? |

| 4. | Relevance: Does the manuscript fit within the scope and objectives of JAPRI? |
| 5. | References: Are the references current, relevant, and properly cited according to the journal style? |
4. Review Structure in OJS
When submitting your review in OJS, please provide:
- Comments for the Author(s): A constructive critique highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions for improvement. Avoid personal or offensive remarks.
- Comments for the Editor: Confidential remarks that may assist the editor in making a decision.
- Recommendation: Choose one of the following options provided in OJS:
- Accept Submission
- Revisions Required
- Resubmit for Review
- Resubmit Elsewhere
- Decline Submission
5. Review Timeline
Reviewers are expected to complete their review within 20 days of receiving the manuscript. If you require more time, please contact the editorial office immediately.
