Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Submitted manuscripts to the Journal of Pharmacy Innovation and Practice (JAPRI) will undergo a multi-stage evaluation process before publication, ensuring the quality, originality, and relevance of the work.

1. Administrative Review

At this stage, the editorial office verifies that the submitted manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines and the official JAPRI template. Completeness of submission files and supporting documents is checked. All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before proceeding to peer review. Plagiarism is not tolerated in JAPRI.

2. Editorial Review

The Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor evaluates whether the manuscript fits the journal’s scope, scientific standards, and ethical requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be rejected.

3. Peer Review

Manuscripts passing the initial checks are sent to two independent reviewers under a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. The standard review process in JAPRI takes approximately 20 days.

4. Author Revision

After the review process, feedback and recommendations from reviewers (and additional editorial comments if necessary) are sent to the author(s). Authors are responsible for revising and resubmitting the manuscript within the allotted time frame.

5. Final Decision

The Editorial Board makes the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of revisions submitted by the author(s). Manuscripts deemed unsuitable will be returned to the author. Only manuscripts that fulfill scientific, ethical, and publication standards will be accepted for publication in JAPRI.
